Prostate & Testicular Cancers
Overview
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men and often grows very slowly. The prostate is a gland located underneath the bladder. Prostate cancer is typically classified as either early-stage or advanced-stage, and treatment may depend on how quickly the cancer is growing or whether it has spread.
Testicular cancer occurs in one or both testicles and is most commonly diagnosed in individuals between the ages of 15 and 45.
At Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, our multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive care for patients with prostate and testicular cancers. We combine advanced diagnostic testing, leading treatment options, and access to clinical trials to develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's diagnosis and goals.
