Tumor Boards

Cancer Care That Works Together

At Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, complex cancer cases are reviewed through multidisciplinary tumor boards that bring together specialists from medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and other clinical disciplines. These collaborative discussions help ensure patients benefit from expert perspectives and personalized treatment recommendations.

Tumor Board

Global Molecular Tumor Board

The Global Molecular Tumor Board reviews challenging cancer cases through the lens of precision medicine. By analyzing the unique molecular and genetic characteristics of a patient's tumor, specialists identify potential targeted therapies and treatment strategies tailored to the individual patient. This internationally recognized forum supports treating physicians from countries across four continents.

Healthcare providers interested in presenting a complex or unique case are encouraged to submit it for review.

Disease Team Tumor Boards

Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center hosts disease-specific tumor boards that bring together multidisciplinary experts to review cases, discuss treatment options, and provide recommendations across a wide range of cancer types.

These tumor boards are available exclusively to Vanderbilt Health faculty and staff. A comprehensive schedule, participation details, and submission instructions are available on the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center intranet.

Vanderbilt Health credentials are required for access.
