Genomic Sciences Shared Resource
Overview
The Genomic Sciences Shared Resource provides Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center investigators with access to advanced genomic technologies, analytical expertise, and scientific guidance throughout the lifecycle of a research project. Staff assist with study design, sample collection, nucleic acid extraction, biobanking, quality assessment, data generation, and computational analysis, helping investigators select approaches that best address their scientific questions. The Genomic Sciences Shared Resource also provides project management, data stewardship, and validation services that support the integrity and reproducibility of genomic studies. Together, these capabilities enable researchers to generate and interpret complex genomic datasets using rigorous and well-established methodologies.
